LiteShoper Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using LiteShoper (the “Site”), creating an account, purchasing or downloading software, or participating in our affiliate program, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and affiliates. Additional terms shown on a product page (pricing, activation limits, billing interval) form part of your purchase.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account or make purchases.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may require email verification before checkout or certain account features. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

Digital products

We sell digital software only: LiteShoper core downloads, plugins, themes, bundles, and license keys. Products are delivered electronically after payment or free checkout.

You are responsible for installing, configuring, and operating software on your own servers and for maintaining backups of your store and data. We do not host your online shop.

Product descriptions, screenshots, and documentation are provided for convenience. Minor updates to features or compatibility may occur as software evolves.

Licenses and activation

Paid products include a license key subject to activation limits shown on each product page (for example, number of domains or sites).

You may not share, resell, sublicense, or publicly redistribute license keys, plugin packages, theme packages, or download links except as expressly allowed by the product license.

License activation ties your key to the site URL you register. Use a consistent canonical URL (with or without “www”) to avoid activation issues.

We may revoke or suspend licenses for fraud, chargebacks, license abuse, or violation of these Terms.

VIP, complimentary, promotional, and beta licenses

We may issue complimentary, VIP, promotional, early-launch, or beta license keys (including key-only licenses that are not tied to an email address at creation). These licenses:

Remain subject to these Terms and any stated expiry or activation limits;
Must not be sold, shared, rented, or redistributed;
May be revoked for abuse, Terms violations, or operational reasons;
For beta or early-launch access, may include unfinished features that can change, break, or be withdrawn without notice and without refund unless required by law.

Software delivery

Downloads may be served from our origin servers or via content delivery / object storage (for example Cloudflare R2). The delivery method does not change your license rights, activation limits, or ownership of the underlying software.

Subscriptions

Subscription products bill on a recurring basis through Stripe until you cancel from your account or Stripe customer portal where available.

If payment fails or a subscription is cancelled or expires, license access may end until the subscription is renewed and paid.

Cancelling a subscription stops future billing; it does not automatically entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid unless the refund rules below apply.

Refunds

Because our products are digital and delivered immediately upon purchase, all refund requests must be submitted within three (3) calendar days of the original transaction date.

After three (3) days, purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we agree in writing (for example, proven duplicate charge or unauthorized payment).

To request a refund within the 3-day window, contact support with your order number and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method when possible.

Refunds may be denied if:

The request is made after the 3-day period;
The license has been widely activated, shared, or abused;
You have already received a refund for the same product;
The purchase was made with a promotional code or bundle where partial use occurred; or
We reasonably believe the request is fraudulent or in bad faith.

If a purchase is refunded, related license access may be revoked and any affiliate commission on that order may be voided or reversed.

Promotional codes and pricing

Promo codes, bundles, and special offers are subject to stated limits (expiry, usage caps, eligible products). We may modify or withdraw promotions at any time.

Pricing errors may be corrected; if a clear mistake occurred, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Affiliate program

LiteShoper may offer a referral (“affiliate”) program. Participation is optional and subject to these Terms and any program settings shown in your affiliate dashboard or admin documentation.

Enrollment and approval

You must have a marketplace account and apply through /account/affiliate. We may approve, reject, suspend, or remove affiliates at our discretion. Some accounts may be auto-approved; others require manual review.

We may disable new affiliate applications while keeping existing affiliates active.

Referral links and tracking

Approved affiliates receive a unique referral code and link (for example ?ref=YOURCODE). Commissions are tracked using cookies and order attribution rules configured on the Site.

Cookie duration, commission rates, and product-specific rates may change; current settings are shown in the affiliate dashboard or program description.

Commissions

Commissions are earned only on qualifying, completed, paid orders from customers referred through your valid tracking link, at the commission rate applicable at the time of purchase.

Commission is generally calculated on the net amount paid after discounts, unless stated otherwise. Free products, refunded orders, voided transactions, and chargebacks do not qualify.

Self-referral is prohibited. You may not earn commission on your own purchases or through accounts you control.

Subscription renewals may or may not generate commission depending on current program settings. Unless explicitly enabled, renewals are not commissioned.

Payouts

Commissions accrue as “pending” until approved for payout. Payouts are processed manually after you submit a payout request and meet any minimum balance shown in your dashboard.

You are responsible for providing accurate payout details (for example PayPal or bank information) when requested. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information.

Payout timing, methods, and minimum thresholds may change. Taxes, duties, and reporting obligations related to your affiliate income are your responsibility.

Prohibited affiliate conduct

You may not:

Use spam, misleading ads, fake coupons, or trademark bidding that implies official endorsement without permission;
Cookie-stuff, use hidden iframes, or manipulate tracking to claim unearned commissions;
Refer fraudulent, stolen, or refunded orders;
Misrepresent LiteShoper products, pricing, or refund policy.

We may withhold, reverse, or claw back commissions and terminate your affiliate account for violations or suspected fraud.

Program changes

We may modify, suspend, or end the affiliate program at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to violate laws, infringe intellectual property, harass others, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload our systems, or interfere with service operation.

You may not use our software or licenses to operate illegal stores, sell prohibited goods, or facilitate fraud.

Intellectual property

LiteShoper, the Site content, branding, and our software are owned by us or our licensors. Your purchase grants a license to use the software as described—not ownership of the underlying code or trademarks.

Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to compensate you.

Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe (and other providers where shown). Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

Plugins and themes may integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, marketplaces, chat widgets). We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes.

Disclaimer

Software and the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation, or that software will meet every business requirement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Site or software.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that product in the twelve (12) months before the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights through your store or affiliate activity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, licenses, or affiliate participation at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational or legal reasons.

Sections that by nature should survive (licenses, refunds already processed, liability limits, indemnity) will survive termination.

Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you acknowledge that policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date on this page may change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For material changes to the affiliate or refund policy, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
