LiteShoper Bulk Price Editor (liteshoper-bulk-price) lets you mass-update local cost and retail prices — and, when Dropship is installed, build wholesale / min-retail prices — from one admin screen with preview, history, and undo.

On this page: Overview · Prerequisites · Install · Editor workflow · Filters · Bulk actions · Preview & apply · Inline edit · Dropship tools · History & undo · Checklist · Troubleshooting

1. Overview

  • Filter variations by search, status, category, stock (and dropship status)
  • Bulk actions: set absolute, adjust amount, adjust %, copy field → field
  • Optional rounding (.05, .10, .50, 1.00, .90, .99)
  • Preview before apply; warnings for risky dropship/retail/cost relationships
  • Inline edit selected rows and save
  • Batch History with per-field old → new values and Undo
  • Dropship extras (if Dropship plugin is active): build wholesale, enable/disable rules, min retail

Menu: Shop → Bulk Price (placed near Products)

2. Prerequisites

  • LiteShoper store with product variations (prices live on variations)
  • Plugin liteshoper-bulk-price activated
  • Admin access to Bulk Price
  • Optional: LiteShop Dropship active for wholesale columns and build tools

No external API account is required.

3. Install

  1. Install / activate liteshoper-bulk-price from the marketplace or Plugins
  2. Open Shop → Bulk Price → Editor
  3. Open History anytime to review past batches

4. Editor workflow (3 steps)

  1. Filters — narrow which variations appear
  2. Bulk actions — choose operation → Preview → Apply
  3. Edit prices — tick rows / edit cells → Save selected

Bulk Preview/Apply uses selected rows. If none are selected, it uses the current filter (capped at 500 variations).

5. Filters

Filter Use
Search Product name, SKU, or variation ID
Status Published / Draft
Category Limit to one category
Stock In stock / Out of stock
Dropship (If Dropship) Enabled, disabled/none, no rule yet, has rule
Per page 25 / 50 / 100 / 200

Click column headers to sort (product, SKU, stock, cost, price, margin, dropship fields, etc.).

6. Bulk actions

Always available

Action What it does
Set absolute Set target field to an exact value
Adjust by amount Add or subtract a fixed amount (use negative to decrease)
Adjust by % Multiply by (1 + %/100), e.g. 10 = +10%
Copy field → field Copy cost ↔ retail (and dropship fields when available)

Target fields

  • Retail price (price)
  • Cost (cost_price)
  • With Dropship: Dropship price, Min retail

Rounding (optional)

  • None · 0.05 · 0.10 · 0.50 · 1.00 · end in .90 · end in .99

With Dropship installed

Action What it does
Build dropship price Build wholesale from cost or retail using × multiplier, ±%, or ± amount
Enable / disable dropship Turn dropship rules on or off for selected variations

Build options can also: enable the dropship rule, set min retail = current retail, clamp never below cost / never above retail.

7. Preview & apply (safe workflow)

  1. Filter and/or select the rows you want
  2. Choose Action, Target, Value (and Round if needed)
  3. Click Preview — review Old → New and any warnings
  4. Click Apply previewed changes (or Apply now without preview)
  5. You are redirected to History for that batch

Warnings may flag cases like dropship above retail or below cost — review before apply.

8. Inline edit

  1. In the table, edit cost / retail (and dropship fields if shown)
  2. Editing a cell auto-selects the row (or tick rows manually)
  3. Click Save selected

Saves create a history batch like bulk apply, so you can undo later if needed.

9. History & undo

  1. Open Bulk Price → History
  2. Select a batch to see every field change (product, SKU, field, old, new)
  3. Click Undo batch to revert (only fields that still match the applied “new” values will revert)

Undo creates a new batch record. Batches that are already undo-mode cannot be undone again from the same detail view.

10. Admin pages

Page Path Purpose
Editor bulk-price Filters, bulk ops, inline grid
History bulk-price/history Batches, change log, undo

11. Example recipes

  • +10% on all published retail: Status=Published → select all on page / use filter → Adjust by % · Target=Retail · Value=10 → Preview → Apply
  • Set cost from a supplier list later: Filter by category → Set absolute · Target=Cost · Value=…
  • Copy cost → retail then mark up: Copy Cost→Retail, then Adjust by % on Retail
  • Wholesale = cost × 1.25: (Dropship) Build dropship · from Cost · mode × multiplier · Value=1.25 → enable rule → Preview

12. Go-live checklist

  1. Plugin activated
  2. Test on a small filter / few selected SKUs first
  3. Always Preview large % changes
  4. Confirm History shows the batch
  5. Spot-check storefront product prices
  6. If Dropship: confirm partner/wholesale prices and clamps

13. Troubleshooting

Issue Fix
“Select at least one row to save” Tick rows or edit a cell so a row is selected before Save
No changes applied Preview count was 0 — same values, wrong target, or empty selection/filter
Dropship columns missing Install/activate LiteShop Dropship (dropship_product_rules table)
Undo changed nothing Prices were edited again after the batch; undo only reverts fields still matching the batch “new” values
Wrong products updated Clear selection; tighten filters; Preview before Apply
Apply hit unexpected rows With no selection, Apply uses current filter (max 500) — select explicitly for safety
